after the Ex ran off with her new boy friend things were pretty tough.. it wasn’t so much that she was gone, it was taking the car with her , not to mention all the money in the checking account . But she did leave me with a nice pile of bills ans some maxed out credit cards to remember all the shoes she ever bought.. But soon enough things got worst. I lost my job. House got forclosed on. wound up sleeping in the shelter , and most the day begging for money on the streets to get the cash to buy my wine and cigarettes. My life was truly going no place untill
the day I met the love of my life.. Trixie. She worked on the corner of 15th and Washington. It was'nt long before she was giving me the homeless discount (thats 25% off) I knew it was going to be true love.
With-in a month I moved out of the shelter and into her station wagon . we had some fun times in that car living under the bridge
it was a little crowded with her two kids and older brother living with us.
that why we parked under the bridge , it was good to have the windows down when it rained . plus some nights we would sleep on the roof..
I did'nt think things could get any better , that is until I quit smoking .. not only did this mean I had more money for wine
we could even get food to once in awhile , and the kids really liked to eat the store bought food. I think it made them feel rich not going to the shelter for dinner .
I even put back a little cash and was able to trade in the station wagon for a mini van , and from there we got a small camper. but this meant we had to move out of the city. and so we did .
found a nice little spot of land of land on a creek up in Maine , Trixe got hired on at the diner in town , her bother however he stayed in the city, he didnt think country living was for him. we enrolled the kids in the school . turns out they already new how to read so that was cool.
I got a job myself working at the saw mill , a lot of white pine up here in Maine , we dont make alot of money
but its a good life , I think by this time next year we'll be out of that camper and building a cabin
well I got to get , got a fire going in the bbq , to fix some dinner
it dosent matter why or how you quit. Only that you do
and sure enough from there everything , may or may not trun into roses
but trixe dose have a sister , if you want to know what corner to look for her on just
PM me
