In the near future you will be temped to go outside and play with the dog or sit

Bring on new triggers and false reflexs to smoke. Trust in yourself you have the ability to overcome and move forward not smoking..
Ones first response may be to flee back into there homes where all is safe. I urge you to be strong, go out side and live the life you have been fighting for . No one stops smoking to become a prisoner of there quit.
And lastly a reminder to get to one year smoke free you have to navigate
12 months , 365 days
One Thanksgiving
One Christamss
One New Years Eve
One New Years day
One Valentines
And Halloween
One forth of july
One vacation on the coast
Or Picnic down at the lake
The first vist to a sister or brother that has not been around you as a non smoker in many years.. all saying congrats , but all you hear is them thinking “ I wonder how long until they fail”
First night without power in a winters storm
First fight with the S/O or some kid that knows it all
One Birthday
One Anniversary
A 6 month quit can be a pro at quitting in the summer and feeling strong . but come the stess of the holidays. And there shakey as week two….
To be a year free is not about , going 365 days not smoking its about getting threw all the first that one year brings with it. The challenges and the differents.
